Notes:
1) First year of Technical Support (minimum of Standard level)/Advanced Exchange/Updates are required with purchase. See Tiered Support category for information regarding selection of Select or Premium service
levels. These levels of support are subject to other conditions, and those conditions must be met before the order will be accepted
2) All systems must be ordered with one of the shipping options listed in the shipping section of the Price list.
3) Volume discounts are NOT available with the Proventia line of appliances.
4) Centralized Management is provided through the optional SiteProtector management system. See SiteProtector section for pricing and ordering information.
5) All systems come with 10/100/1000 Copper Ethernet management interface(s) in addition to the protected interfaces.
6) Some products may not be generally available. Please see the Product Pipeline on the ISS intranet for details on the availability of products.
7) External fiber bypass units ensure wire-speed pass-through in case of IPS failure. Without the bypass unit, network traffic will be blocked if power loss or if serious software or hardware failure occurs. Refer to the
product datasheet to determine if an External Bypass Unit is needed to provide bypass functionality for a particular model.
8) License for operation of this device may not be transferred to new appliance at later date.
9) High Availability configurations for the Proventia appliances are ordered by purchasing a base unit and an HA unit plus associated maintenance fees.
10) All Appliance accessories can be viewed on the Proventia Appliance Accessory section of the Master Price List.
11) IPS Appliance licenses are available for use when converting a spare appliance to a production appliance. Please use the LICENSE ONLY ordering codes AND the standard maintenance ordering code. Full
Maintenance is required to convert spare appliances to production units.
