HC1 to HC2 Upgrade The information contained in this document is to be used by customers who are planning to upgrade their InfoPrint Hi-Lite Color 4005 HC1 to a InfoPrint Hi-Lite Color 4005 HC2. The HC1 has eight 1.27 mm (0.4 inch) printheads with 96 inkjets each and the HC2 has eight 2.72 cm (1.06 inch) printheads with 256 inkjets each . The upgrade affects the following: 1. Applications 2. Supplies and Features 3.
v Leaving the HC1 in its current location during the upgrade installation. This would require the InfoPrint 4000 to use its own stacker during the entire upgrade. 2. A working area to accommodate the installation 3302 mm x 3633 mm (130 inch x 143 inch) must be provided. 3. Additional area, large enough to accommodate unpacking and storing upgrade parts (approximately 3048 mm x 3048 mm (120 inch x 120 inch) must be provided.
