backup device is a tape drive or virtual device.
Examples of device names are /dev/tty0,
/dev/lft0 and /dev/pts/5. You can determine
the terminal device name by typing tty at the
command line on that device.
Data to verify (of above type) Unless the backup is a file/directory Backup,
this field contains the data to verify as selected
on the prior screen. This can be a list of volume
groups, filesystem, or logical volumes,
depending on the type of backup to be verified.
For a file/directory backup, this field is left
blank and any contents are ignored, because the
entire contents of the backup must be verified.
6. Press Enter when all fields are correct.
Each data type specified is read in its entirety to ensure the data is readable on the
media. Either a list of files or progress indicator is displayed during the
verification as selected above.
