Decimal places (standard, scientific, currency). For number display formats, speciﬁes the number

of deci mal pla

ces to be used when displaying or printing real numbers. This option is speciﬁed

separat ely for each display format.

Calculations in. Select

Radians or Degrees as the unit of measurement to be used in trigonometric

CLEM expressions. For more infor mation, see the topic Trigonometric Functions in Chapter 8

on p. 139.

Save As Default. The options speciﬁed apply only to the current stream. Click this button to set

these options as the default for all streams.

Setting optimization options for streams

You can use the Optimization settings to optim ize stream performance. No te that the performance

and optimization se ttings on IBM® SPSS® Modele r Server (if used) override any equivalen t

settings in

the client.

Note: Database modeling and SQL optimizatio n require that SPSS Modeler Server connectivity

be enabled on the IBM® SPSS® Modeler computer. With this setting enabled, you can access

database al

gorithms, push back SQL directly from SPSS Modeler, and access SPSS Modeler

Server. To verify the current license statu s, c hoose the following from the SPSS Modeler menu.

If connecti vity is enabled, you see the option Server Enablement in the L icense Status ta b.
