Version properties

The following pr operties can be speciﬁed or modiﬁed for speciﬁc versions of a stored object:

Version. Unique identiﬁer for the version generated based on the time when the version w as stored.

Label. Current label for the version, if any. Unlike the version identiﬁer, labe ls can be moved from

one version of an object to another.

The ﬁle size, crea tion date, and author are also displayed for e ach version.

Edit Labels. Click the

Edit Labels icon at the top right of the Versions tab to deﬁne, apply or

remove labels f or stored o bjects. For more information, see the top ic Man aging Object Version

Labels on p. 183.

Permissions Tab

The Permissions t ab lets you set read and write permissions f or the obje ct. All users and groups

with acc

ess to the current object are listed. Permissions follow a hierarch y. For example, if

you do not have read perm is sion, you cannot have write p ermiss ion. If you do not have write

permission, you cannot have delete permission.
