Chapter 26. Global Mirror examples

In this chapter we provide examples that illustrate how to set up and manage a Global Mirror

environment, using the available interfaces: TSO commands, ICKDSF, DS SM GUI, and DS

CLI. The examples show how to:

򐂰 Query Global Mirror sessions.

򐂰 Establish a Global Mirror environment (paths, pairs. session).

򐂰 Deal with a primary site failure and the subsequent recovery at the backup site. Also, the

management of a planned outage is discussed.

򐂰 Remove a Global Mirror environment.
