IM016 - IBM Implementation Services - ServicePac for disk systems (DS5000)

Review and verify the installation of the DS5000 to ensure readiness.

Update BIOS and drivers of the FC (Fiber Channel) host bus adaptors on up to six (6) hosts.

Implement/update multipath failover driver.

Install the DS5000 Storage Manager on the hosts and one management station.

Create up to six (6) arrays with Logical Unit Numbers (LUNs), create hosts and map LUNs to hosts.

Validate LUN availability on the hosts and test functionality.

Provide up to two (2) of your designated personnel with two (2) hours of basic skills instruction

IM002 - IBM Implementation Services - ServicePac for disk systems (DS6000 / DS8000)

Implement one (1) DS6000 or DS8000 using System Storage disk system Storage Manager or the disk system command line interface.

Install SDD and, if needed, device drivers on up to two (2) servers per platform.

Install activation keys, perform disk allocations, volume group creations, adapter configurations and host attachments.

Test and verify the operation of the System Storage disk system.

Provide up to two (2) of your designated personnel with two (2) hours of basic skills instruction.

Number of hours of Service: 40 hours

IM003 - IBM Implementation Services - ServicePac for network attached storage systems (N3000)

Implement one(1) N3000 Model A10 or Model A20 for accessibility by up to five (5) hosts each using up to two (2)

Common Internet File System ("CIFS") shares, two (2) Network File System ("NFS") mounts, or two (2)

Internet Small Computer System Interface ("iSCSI") Logical Unit Numbers ("LUNs").

Test and verify the operation of the System Storage network attached storage system.

Provide up to two (2) of your designated personnel with two (2) hours of basic skills instruction.

Number of hours of Service: 24 hours

IM004 - IBM Implementation Services - ServicePac for network attached storage systems (N5000/N6000/N7000 filer)

Implement one (1) N5000 or N7000 Model A1x or Model A2x or one (1) N6000 Model A1x or Model A2x and up to twelve (12)

disk shelves for accessibility by up to five(5) hosts each using up to two(2) Common Internet File System ("CIFS") shares, two(2)

Network File System ("NFS") mounts, two (2) Internet Small Computer System Interface ("iSCSI") Logical Unit Numbers ("LUNs"),

or two (2) Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP) LUNs.

Test and verify the operation of the System Storage network attached storage system.
