Read/Write compatibility with LTO Generation 3 cartridges. Read compatibility with LTO 2 and 3

Key prerequisites
The IBM Half-high LTO Generation 4 SAS Tape Drive prerequisites are:
SAS controller
One or more LTO Generation 3 or LTO Generation 4 data cartridge (not supplied with drive option)
For the internal drive, an available half-height drive bay or supported external tape enclosure.
