he AJD is the latest innovation in jazz

box guitars, but it is neither large nor

boxy. The light body is comfortable

and feels like a solid body, with its abundant

sustain. The semi-acoustic design maintains the

tonal warmth of a hollow body. The guitar also

features the ACT tremolo, a unique addition for

this versatile instrument.

he AM was an original Ibanez design in the early

‘80s. The AM is a natural progression of this

design, though smaller in size. This guitar provides

inﬁnite playing comfort for smaller players, while holding on

to the same light body and abundant sustain that has made

the Artcore series so popular.

he AG has a slightly smaller body width than the more

traditional AF dimensions. However, the same depth and true

full-hollow body construction make for a big standout sound.

The rst knife-edge tremolo designed for semi-acoustic guitar, the ACT

eliminates the tremolo cavity that sacrices the tone. Shorter springs

use less vibrating room and contribute to a stier arm response. Two

ways to install the springs oer choice in string and arm tension. And

on top of all that, the ACT is smooth to the touch and string changes

are easy.

ith a neck joint at the 17th fret for

improved upper fret access, the

AGS may be an improvement on the

AG for many players. Based on the same body design

as the AG, the AGS has a thinner body and sound

block for feedback reduction and increased sustain.

traditional AF dimensions. However, the same depth and true

full-hollow body construction make for a big standout sound.

The super-thin AGS83B features a 17-fret body joint and

an extra-deep cutaway that makes it the right choice for

players who want to spend more time, with ease and

comfort, in the upper regions.
