FUNCTION
SimpleWorx products are designed to provide simple
remote control for lighting and other electrical loads
without having to run any new wiring. They connect (or
“link”) to one another by communicating over the
existing electrical power wires.
One Transmitter can be linked to as many Receivers as
you like. Each Rec
e
iver can be linked to eight
Transmitters.
The PM Series Plug-In Modules (F
igur
e 1) allow f
or a
contact closure to trigger a PMT-CC Transmitter and
remotely control the load of any SimpleWorx receiving
device (like a PMR Plug-In Module Relay). Once the PMT
is “linked” to a load controlling SimpleWorx receiver
(refer to “Linking a Transmitter to a Receiver”) it is
capable of controlling the receiver’s load just as if it were
its own load.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical products, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. Do not use this product for other than its intended purpose.
2. Keep away from water. If the product comes in contact
with water or
other liq
uid, turn off the circuit breaker and
remove the product immediately.
3. Never use pr
oducts that have been dropped or damaged.
4. Do not use this product outdoors.
5. Do not cover this pr
oduct with any material when in use.

The PM Series Modules are designed for indoor use with
devices that plug into a grounded power outlet (PMR-AC) or
will be controlled by a contact closure (PMR-CC).
To install the PM series modules:
1. Locate the load to be controlled and plug it into the outlet
on the bottom of the PMR-AC or wire the contact to
terminals 1 and 2 of the P
MT/R-CC.
Note - The Load current rating (or combined rating of
multiple conn
ected lamps) must not exc
eed:
PMR-AC – 15 Amps
PMR-CC - 8 Amps
2. Plug the PM into an unswitched wall outlet.
3. Turn the load power switch to its ON position if using the
PMR-AC.
4. Tap the button on the front to manually turn load on or
off
CAUTION: Do not insert metal objects into the module while
it is connected to power.
