INSTALLING THE PCIe CARD TO PC
1. Switch off the computer and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Remove the PC cover a remove the cover strip of the corresponding PCIe slot.
3. Carefully mount the PCIe card to a free PCIe slot and secure it with a screw.
4. Put back the PC cover and connect the PC to the 230V mains. Switch on the PC.
INSTALLING THE DRIVERS
Windows® / Linux – the drivers will be installed automatically from the system. If
necessary restart the PC.
Other systems – required drivers you can find on our website www.i-tec-
europe.eu in the "Download" tab for this product.
Checking the correct installation in OS Windows®
Go to Hardware Manager (e.g. in WinXP: Start-Control Panels-System-Hardware-
Hardware Manager or Win 7: Start-Control Panels-Small Icons-System-Change
Settings-Hardware- Hardware Manager)
Under the Network Adaptors item you will see new hardware: Realtec PCIe GBE
Family Controller.
