EC Declaraon of Conformity
The EC declaraon can be found at the end of this manual.
Faults and Damages
If there is any reason to suspect that the safety of the phone has been com-
promised, it must be withdrawn from use and removed from any ex-
hazardous areas immediately.
Measures must be taken to prevent any accidental restarng of the phone.
The safety of the phone may be compromised, if, for example:
· malfuncons occur.
· the housing of the phone or the baery shows damage.
· the phone has been subjected to excessive loads.
· the phone has been stored improperly.
· markings or labels on the phone are illegible.
It is recommended that a phone which shows or which is suspected of faults
and damages is returned i.safe MOBILE GmbH for inspecon.
Ex-relevant Safety Regulaons
Use of this phone assumes that the operator observes the convenonal safe-
ty regulaons and has read and understood manual, safety instrucons and
cerficate.
The following safety regulaons must also be complied with:
· Inside ex-hazardous areas the phone must be closed. The baery cover
has to be fixed by the two screws and the covers of the interfaces have to
be closed.
· To ensure the IP-protecon, it has to be ensured that all gaskets are pre-
sent and funconal. The screws at the top and the boom of the back of
the phone need to be covered by the black gaskets, so that the screw
heads are not visible. There must be no large gap between the two halves
of the housing.
· The baery may only be exchanged or charged outside ex-hazardous are-
