Quick Start User guide
• Log in as administrator.
• Insert the Cardiris CD-ROM in the CD-Rom drive.
• Double-click on the “CD-ROM” icon from the desktop; the Cardiris window appears.
• Double-click on the “Cardiris Installer” icon to run the installation.
• Accept the license agreements by clicking on “continue”. You have to scroll down to activate this
button.
2. Connect the IRIScan to a free USB port.
Now, the IRIScan scanner is ready for scanning your business cards.
Quick User Guide Cardiris
1. Launch the software.
• Fill in the serial number (refer to the sticker on the dvd box).
• Click on “OK”.
Proceed with the calibration: insert the delivered calibration card face down into the IRIScan
scanner.
Tip: Keep the calibration card on a safe place for future purpose.
2. Select your scanner.
• Under the menu File, select IRIScan 1.6.
3. Scan and recognize business cards.
Tip: before scanning your business cards, we suggest you to sort them by country
• Click on the “country icon” and select the corresponding country.
• Place business cards at the right hand side of the IRIScan.
• Click on “Acquire”.
• The image of the cards are displayed in the software interface and the recognized editable items
areavailableinthedifferentelds.
