Hardware Installation
PLC Adapter
Step 1: Connect the PLC adapter to your router using
an Ethernet cable. Then connect the PLC adapter to the
mains.
Note: If you have only purchased the camera, please
make sure that you use a PLC adapter with the correct
specications.
Install the liveCAM App
The liveCam App
Step 1: Search for the plugCAM App
in the Apple store or Google Play and
download the App to your mobile device.
QR Code Scan
(Ideal for rst time setup. Have the camera ready.)
„QR Code Scan“ might not be supported by some mobile devices.
Add the liveCAM Camera
Three Methods to Add Cameras
Option 1:
Scan the QR code on the bottom of the camera.
Option 2:
Search for the camera via the same local network.
Option 3:
Manually type in the camera ID and password.
Step 1:
Click Add Camera and select the „QR Code“ icon on the
screen to scan the QR Code which is located on the bottom
of the camera. The Camera ID andpassword will be displayed
on the screen.
Step 2:
Name your camera (optional) and conrm by clicking
the „Save“ icon. Once saved, the new camera will be
added to „My Cameras“.
Note: Please make sure that your liveCam has been reset to the
factory settings when adding it by scanning the QR code on the
bottom of the camera.

The liveCam Camera
Step 1:
Place your plugCAM camera anywhere in the house and
switch it on. The plugCAM camera and the PLC adapter
will automatically connect.
Note: While the camera is being accessed, you may
check whether the camera IR LED lights are working
properly by covering the light sensor above the lens
to see if the IR LED lights turn red.
WARNING: If there is a PLC network available, DO NOT
connect the PLC adapter with a router that is connected
to another PLC device.
Note: You are successfully
connected, when the
A & C LED lights on the
adapter are on and the
B LED light is blinking.
