2. Repair of the frictional surface
Repair the frictional surface with the surface grinder.
CAUTION
a. After repairing the frictional surface, check
whether the frictional surface is parallel with
surface A within 0.1mm.
b. Check the frictional surface (size B) whether
its height is w ithin the limit.

a. When
removing the ring gear (1), heat the ring
gea
r evenly using acetylene torch or equivalent
too
ls and then remove the ring gear by tapping
the
circumference with rod or hammer.
b. Whe
n installing, heat the ring gear with piston
hea
ter for 3 minutes (about 100
C). And then,
ins
ert the ring gear so that the un-chamfered gear
fac
es to flywheel.

(09211-41000).
