REMOVAL E812C03D

1. Loosen the alternator (1) tensioner screw (2) and re-

move the V-belt(3).

2. Remove the cooling fan (1) and auto cooling fan cou-

pling (2).

3. Remove the water pump pulley (1) and water pump

assembly (2).

4. Remove the vacuum pump (1) and alternator assem-

bly (2).

5. Remove the power steering pump (1).

6. Align the timing mark "0" of crankshaft damper pulley

(1) with the indicator (2) of the timing gear case. Then,

cylinder No. 1 is positioned at TDC of compression

stroke.
