Lift the tensioner arm and pulley to install the drive
belt.
Caution: The system must be filled slowly to prevant
air locks. During filling, air must be vented from the
engine coolant passages. Be sure to open the petcock
on the aftercooler for aftercooled engines.
The system has a maximum fill rate of 14 liters per
minute [3.5 U.S. gallons per minute]. Do not exceed
this fill rate. Wait 2 to 3 minutes to allow air to be
vented. Then add coolant to bring the level to the top.
Close the drain valves. Fill the cooling system with a mixture of
50% water and 50% ethylene-glycol type antifreeze. This will
provide freeze protection to -37°C [-34°F],
