Disengage the engine timing pin.
24 mm
Remove the fuel pump timing pin plug. Reverse the
position of the pin and install the pin, plug, and
sealing washer.
Torque Value: 15 N • m [11 ft-lb]
22 mm or 27 mm
Tighten the fuel pump drive nut.
Torque Value:
P7100 Pump, 165 N>m [122 ft-lb]
Install the gear cover access cap hand tight.
10 mm
Install the fuel pump mounting bracket capscrews finger
tight.
To make sure the alignment is correct, tighten the
support mounting capscrews.
Torque Value: 24 N • m [18 ft-lb]
