FuelShutOffSolenoid‐Replacement 
Preparatory Steps:
• Label and disconnect the wiring.
Bosch and CAV
22 mm-CAV 24 mm-Bosch
Clean around the valve.
WHEN REMOVING THE VALVE, BE CAREFUL
NOT TO DROP THE PISTON AND SPRING.
Replace the valve and connect the electrical wire.
Stanadyne DB4
• Remove the electrical wiring.
• Remove the fuel drain line.
• Remove the throttle shutoff linkage.
• Remove the fuel injection pump top cover.
• Disassemble the fuel injection pump top cover.

Install new insulating tubes onto the terminals on the
terminal studs of the new solenoid.
Install the valve into the cover.
Torque Value :14 N• m [12 in-ld]
