Unknown voice
or noise is
heard on the
channel.
The radio may be set with
no signaling.
Request your dealer to set
signaling for all radios operating
at the same frequency, and
make sure that all group
members share the same
signaling.
During
reception, you
hear too much
noise and hiss.
You may be too far away
from other members.
Move towards other members.
The radio may be at an
unfavorable position. For
example, the signal may
be blocked by tall buildings
or frustrated in the
underground areas.
Move to an open and flat area,
and restart the radio.
The radio may suffer from
external disturbance (such
as electromagnetic
interference).
Stay away from equipment that
may cause interference.
The radio
keeps
transmitting.
You might have toggled the
PTT/VOX switch on the
earpiece with VOX from
PTT to VOX.
Plug the earpiece out and in, or
switch channel.
The voice is
unclear.
The signal is poor.
Make sure the radio is within the
communication range.
