Safe & Effective Use
If you are not excluded from using the machine due to
a health condition, the G17 Pro can be used by almost
everyone. However, the key to success when using the
G17 Pro is safe and effective use. There are three main
variables that will determine safe and effective use:
- Intensity (G-Force)
- Time
- Exercise
Intensity (G-Force)
The G17 Pro can be adjusted through a wide range of
intensity levels, from very low intensity (low frequency
with low amplitude) to very high (high frequency with
high amplitude). Intensity levels should be chosen
appropriately based on personal ability and level of
conditioning.
The G17 Pro has a frequency range from 5 to 35Hz, and
three amplitude positions, L (Low), M (Medium), & H
(High). Frequency refers to the speed of the platform
and can be adjusted at the control panel in manual
mode. Amplitude refers to the distance the platform
travels up and down, and can be adjusted by moving
your feet/hands between the L, M & H amplitude
contact positions on the platform.
