Take one John Guest T connector and 2 short

pex extensions and assemble as in Fig A. Twist

collar until tight.

Take one 3/4” to male npt connector. Wrap thread

with 2-3 wraps of thread tape and screw into the

inlet of the sediment filter. Once hand tight, use a

wrench to tighten no more than ¼ turn.

Take one John Guest shut off valve and 2 pex

extensions, and assemble as in Fig D. Twist outer

collar until tight.

Take 2 John Guest Shut Off valve, and assemble

as in Fig B. (Note the direction arrow on the

valve) Twist collar until tight.

Take one pex extension and insert into the ¾” to

male npt connector, and to the John Guest shut

off valve as in Fig C. Twist collar until tight.

Take one John Guest T and assemble to the

above assembly as shown in Fig E. Twist outer

collar until tight.

Install Guide Bypass System Fig F. 9 On the tank outlet, wrap two to three wraps of Teflon tape to the threads of the tank head adaptor. Thread one ¾” John Guest female fitting onto the tank head adaptor and tighten hand tight. Wrench tighten no more than ¼ turn past hand tight. 10 Plug assembly in Fig E into the ¾” Female connector as in Fig F. Twist outer collar until tight 11 Take the long pex tubing section and install between the first John Guest valve and the second John Guest T fitting.
