Compact Design
With today’s homes designed to maximize living space, boilers are being squeezed into
ever-smaller areas. In a closet, wall hung boiler or any tight spot, the compact size of the
1100 Series is designed to fit.
Easy Installation
Hydrolevel provides step-by-step, diagramed instructions for fast, easy installation and
wiring. The standard Model 1100 includes a plug-in wire harness with labeled quick-con-
nects for 24 volt wiring with no guessing. Additional wiring harnesses designed for most
popular boilers are also available. The 120 volt Model 1150 provides pigtail leads for quick
wire-nut connections.
Burner Circuit Test Button
The Model 1100 and Model 1150 are the only cut-offs designed for residential water
boilers to offer a test button. This feature allows for testing the control without lowering
the water level. And with the 1100 Series, the prescribed maintenance does not require
annual probe removal as with other brands.*

*Safgard 1100 Series controls should be tested annually using the test button. The probe should be removed, inspected and
cleaned every five years. Refer to the installation instructions for complete maintenance details.
