3. LED Layouts
The standard layout supplied with all Grow Series models is aimed primarily at the BLOOM/FLOWER
phase of plant growth and focuses more heavily in the red‐orange spectrum. This does not mean
that it cannot be used in the vegetation phase. It will still perform excellently during the vegetation
phase but for those with the ability to run separate rooms for phases, we suggest purchasing
additional Grow Series units fitted specifically with our GROWTH/VEG layout. The optional
GROWTH/VEG layout is better suited to the vegetation phase of plant growth due to it focusing more
heavily in the blue spectrum. It is not as suited to the BLOOM/FLOWER phase which is generally the
most important phase for hydroponic growers, hence why it is not supplied as standard. Units fitted
with the optional layout will have the word GROWTH printed on the product label attached to the unit
itself. Units fitted with the standard layout will either be printed with the word BLOOM or will not have
either words printed. The below pictures indicate the LEDs used in the two different layouts.
