No tools required. Please make sure to remove the support brackets
from the box before discarding it.
Firebacks help to protect the walls of the heat chamber from premature cracking and degredaon.
Their purpose is also to boost a replace’s heat output by radiang heat into the room and reecng
and projecng more of the re’s heat and light into the room.
STEP 1
Remove everything from the replace, including grates. Clean completely cool replace thoroughly with
a broom or ash vacuum.
STEP 2
Some people prefer to just lean the reback against the wall of the replace. Others prefer to ulize the
support brackets (feet) included in the package to hold the reback in posion. It should be centered and
placed about 1 inch from the back wall of the replace.
STEP 3
The slots in the brackets allow for a slight forward angle, straight upright posion, or a slight backward
leaning stance. You may choose whichever posion you nd most suitable.
