Nature needs protecting - now more than ever. You can
make a big dierence and leave a greener footprint
for the enjoyment of future generations by introducing
small changes in your life. Start by choosing a HWAM
wood-burning stove.
All HWAM wood-burning stoves are equipped with
HWAM® Autopilot™ as standard to help you achieve
good combustion. As the temperature rises and falls in the
combustion chamber, a bimetallic spring will expand and
contract, and regulate the air supply. When the fire is dying
out, the damper will automatically open again, and you can
add firewood or let the fire die out. If you prefer an elec-
tronic solution where an app reminds you when to add
more firewood, then you should choose a wood-burning
stove with HWAM® SmartControl™, an electronic system
developed in collaboration with DTU (Technical University
of Denmark) to help achieve the cleanest possible com-
bustion.
Three essential elements are required to start a fire: the
right amount of wood, heat and oxygen. To achieve the
cleanest possible combustion, you need an accurate
combination of these elements. It is essential that the
temperature reaches 750
0
Celsius as soon as possible,
thereby reducing the risk of gas and particle emissions.
This level is virtually impossible to achieve manually. A
wood-burning stove with HWAM® SmartControl™ will
ensure that you achieve the optimum combination and
thus very clean combustion.
