Seat Adjustment
The seat on the Hustler
®
Dash™ mower can be adjusted
forward and rearward.
1. Pivot the seat platform up and forward.
2. Loosen the four cap screws on the underneath side of
the seat platform. Figure 4-9
3. Position the seat where you have the best control of
the machine and are the most comfortable.
4. Tighten the cap screws. Torque to 7 ft–lbs (9 N•m).

Steering Control Lever Adjustment
The steering control levers can be adjusted for operator
comfort.
A. To pivot the upper control levers forward or rearward,
loosen the cap screws that attach the upper control
lever to the lower lever. Then, pivot the upper control
lever. Tighten the cap screws. Figure 4-10
B. To lower and raise the control levers, remove the cap
screws. Slide the upper control lever up or down and
align the holes in it with the holes in the lower lever.
Re-install the cap screws and tighten.
The steering control levers should be adjusted so that they
align with each other when in the neutral position.
