Safety Information(Continued)
AIR SUPPLY AND CONNECTIONS
The connector on the tool must not hold pressur e when
air supply is disconnected. If an incorrect fitting is used,
the tool can remain charged with air after disconnecting
and thus will be able to drive a fastener even after the air
line is disconnected, possible causing injury .
Do not use any type of reactive gases, including, but not
limited to, oxygen and combustible gases, as a power
source. Use filtered, lubricated, r egulated compressed air
only. Use of a reactive gas instead of compressed air may
cause the tool to explode which will cause death or
serious personal injury .
Use only a pr essure-r egulated compr essed air sour ce to
limit the air pr essure supplied to the tool. The regulated
pressur e must not exceed 115 psi. If the regulator fails,
the pressur e delivered to the tool must not exceed 200
psi. Over pressurizing the tool is able to result in bursting,
abnormal operation, breakage of the tool or serious injury
to persons. Use only clean, dry, regulated compr essed air
at the rated pressur e or within the rated pr essur e range
as marked on the tool. Always verify prior to using the
tool that the air sour ce has been adjusted to the rated air
pressur e or within the rated air -pr essur e range.
