The tool may fire w hen it is first
connect ed to the air source. Alw ays
connect t he t ool to the air source before
loading fast eners to prevent injury from
unintended cycling. Alw ays make sure
the t ool's m agazine is empt y at t he
beginning of each w ork session, before
connect ing to an air source.

UNLOADING FASTENERS
Disconnect the tool from air source.
Pull back the pusher, pressing bypass lever of
the to allow pusher to bypass nails and
slowly allow pusher to return to nose of the tool.
(see figure 5)
Slide the fastener to the rear magazine. Once
the nails have slid back to the hold back spring,
press the tab on the hold back spring to push the
spring back and allow the nails to come out of
the magazine. (see figure 6)

Always unload all fasteners before removing
tool from service.

CLEARING JAMS
Make sure t here is no fast ener in
magazine before clearing a jam .

Disconnect the tool from the air source
w henever clearing a jam. Aft er
disconnect ing the tool from the air
compressor, t here should still be enough
air pressure to fire t he t ool. After the air
hose is disconnected, alw ays fire the tool
int o scrap w ood repeat edly to make sure
all of the compressed air is expended.

NON- MARRING PAD
The non- marring pad attached the nose of the tool
helps prevent marring and denting when working
with softer woods.
Disconnect the tool from the air source
before removing or replacing the non
marring pad. Failure t o do so could result
in serious personal injury.

Occasionally, a fastener may become jammed in
the firing mechanism of the tool, making the tool
inoperable. To remove a jammed fastener, follow
the steps below:
Disconnect the tool from air source.
Remove fasteners from the tool. Failure to do
so will cause the fasteners to eject from the front
of the tool.
Pull the jammed fastener out from the nose, use
pliers or a screwdriver if required to clear the
jammed fastener. Using caution not to bend or
damage the driver blade.
Reconnect the tool to the air source.
Reload the tool with fasteners.
