Wave Breaker in Speaker & Subwoofer Installation Instructions

HushMat Products: Wave Breaker Speaker Kit

Speaker Installation:

Step 1: Remove Speaker from vehicle:

Step 1: If you are not installing HushMat Ultra with your Wave Breaker – clean the sheet metal surface opposite from

the speaker mounting hole removing any dust, dirt, debris or other surface contaminants.

Step 2: Peel back release paper from back of one Wave Breaker pad and stick the wave breaker on the inside of the

outer door skin opposite of the speaker mounting hole as shown in the schematic below.

NOTE: No HushMat Wave Breaker should come in contact with Speaker magnet once the installation is complete. In

other words there will be an air gap between the magnet and the Wave Breaker.

Repeat this step for each speaker you are installing. Subwoofer Installation: Step 1: Peel back release paper on the first Wave Breaker Pad and adhere to enclosure wall opposite from the subwoofer mounting hole. Repeat this step placing the second wave breaker pad side by side to the first pad as shown in the schematic below. www.hushmat.
