Husarion CORE2 Telepresence Robot
Regulatory Compliance and Safety Information
WARNINGS
This product contains and is powered from Lithium-Ion batteries. Lithium-ion cells and battery packs may
get hot, explode or ignite and cause serious injury if exposed to abuse conditions. Be sure to follow the
safety warnings listed below:
Use only batteries with protection circuit! Using unprotected batteries may result in serious
injuries or fire.
Do not connect the positive terminal and negative terminal of the battery to each other with
any metal object (such as wire).
Do not carry or store battery together with necklaces, hairpins or other metal objects.
Do not pierce the battery with nails, strike the battery with a hammer, step on the battery or
otherwise subject it to strong impacts or shocks.
Do not expose battery to water or salt water, or allow the battery to get wet.
Use only charger that is included with CORE2 Telepresence Robot. Use of other charger is possible if it is
capable of charging 3S Li-Ion battery configuration, with maximum current of 1A and only at your own risk.
The connection of unapproved devices to the CORE2 I/O ports or other CORE2 Telepresence Robot ports
may affect compliance or result in damage to the unit and invalidate the warranty.
Keep this product away from children. It has rough edges and contain small parts that could be swallowed.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE
To avoid malfunction or damage to your CORE2 Telepresence Robot please observe the following:
Do not expose CORE2 Telepresence Robot to dust or moisture. CORE2 Telepresence Robot is designed only
for internal use.
Do not expose it to heat from any source; the CORE2 Telepresence Robot is designed for reliable operation
at normal ambient room temperatures (0…40°C / 32…104°F)
Please avoid a deep discharge of batteries which may lower theirs lifecycle.
Avoid using CORE2 Telepresence Robot in places where the robot could fall on the ground. It is not designed
to resist falls from a height higher than small thresholds or curbs.
Clean CORE2 Telepresence Robot with a damp cloth.
All peripherals used with the CORE2 Telepresence Robot should comply with relevant standards for the
country of use and be marked accordingly to ensure that safety and performance requirements are met.
These articles include but are not limited to RC servos, sensors, modems, smartphone/tablet and USB cables
used in conjunction with the CORE2 Telepresence Robot.
Periodically check if the wheels and the coupling with motor axes are tightened properly.
