To avoid possible electrical shock, before installing your fan, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breakers to the outlet box associated with the wall switch location. Use wood screws Use machine screws (included) when securing (provided with outlet to support structure with box) when securing to approved electrical outlet existing ceiling fan-rated box.

www.HunterFan.com Hanging the Fan Ground Wire Screw Hole While holding the wires out of the way, lift the motor assembly and place the square hanger into the opening in the ceiling bracket. Be sure the ground wire attached to the hanger faces out of the large opening in the ceiling bracket. Locking Screw Once the motor is in the ceiling bracket, use the two locking screws found in the hardware bag to secure the motor to the ceiling bracket. Note: Fan style may vary.

www.HunterFan.com Motor Housing Keyhole Motor Housing Plug Motor Housing Screw Keyhole Motor Housing Screw Lift the motor housing and align the keyholes in the motor housing with the two partially installed canopy screws in the hanger bracket. Rotate the fan housing to situate the screws in the end of the keyholes. The motor housing is not secured until the next step is complete. Do not leave unattended.
Blades www.HunterFan.com Insert grommets found in the hardware bag into the holes in the blades, then secure each blade to a blade iron with screws found in the hardware bag. www.HunterFan.com Switch Housing Screw two housing assembly screws from the hardware bag halfway into the motor housing. It does not matter which two screw holes you choose. Feed the wire plug through the center hole of the upper switch housing, then wrap keyhole slots around the screws and twist counterclockwise. 11 M0129-01 • 09/21/16 • © 2016 Hunter Fan Company 1.888.830.1326 Insert the third screw, found in the hardware bag, into place and then tighten all three screws.

www.HunterFan.com Light Kit (continued) 1.888.830.1326 Metal Plate Globe Globe Keeper Finial Cap Finial Install the included LED bulbs into the sockets. When necessary, replace with bulbs of same wattage. Note: Fan style and number of lights may vary. Press the globe and globe keeper flush against the metal plate. Thread the light pull chain through the hole in the center of the finial cap and thread the fan pull chain through the hole in the side of the cap.
www.HunterFan.com Remote Control Battery Door 1.888.830.1326 r we o nP r Tu ON Phillips Head Screw The remote transmitter is already paired to the receiver and ready to use. To access the battery compartment, remove the small Phillips head screw that secures the battery door to the transmitter assembly. The battery should be installed with the positive (+) side up. Replace with a CR2032 battery when necessary. Note: If your need to pair your remote, remove the battery door.
www.HunterFan.com Remote Control Cradle 1.888.830.1326 You have two options to install the included remote control cradle to the wall. Choose which path works best for you. Option 1: Using Screws Option 2: Using Adhesive Strip Choose your cradle installation location. Remove the cradle from the cradle bracket. If you are installing into drywall, drill two 9/64 width holes using the cradle bracket as a guide. Gently hammer the included drywall anchors into the pre-drilled holes.

Use the fan control directional pad to raise or lower the fan to the desired speed. Press and hold the fan button to reverse the fan direction.
www.HunterFan.com Troubleshooting Fan doesn’t work Excessive wobbling Noisy Operation • Make sure power switch is on. • Make sure the blades are properly installed on the blade iron posts. • Make sure the blades are properly installed on the blade iron posts. • Turn the power off, support the fan carefully, and check that the hanger ball is properly seated. • Check to see if any of the blades are cracked. If so, replace all of the blades.
