Here is what comes in your box: 1886 We recommend that you pull everything out of the box and lay it out. We have grouped the drawn components below with the hardware you’ll need for those parts. The screws below are drawn to scale to make it easier to identify what piece of hardware is needed to install each component. 1886 Installing the Fan Body 2 of 4 Canopy Screw bag Using both hands, lift the fan body from the hook Align the hanging slots on both sides of the fan body with the two partially installed canopy screws. Slide the two slots on both sides of the fan body between the head of the screws and rotate the fan body counterclockwise so the screws hold the fan body firmly in place. Install the remaining two canopy screws by holding the fan body cover to the ceiling mounting plate.
1886 Assembling the Light Kit 2 of 8 bag 1 of 8 Light Kit Screw Partially install two light kit assembly screws, found in the hardware bag, halfway into the motor housing as shown. It does not matter which two screw holes you choose. bag 3 of 8 Light Kit Screw Align the keyhole slots in the top of the light kit assembly with the partially installed assembly screws. Rotate the keyhole slots around the screws and twist counterclockwise. Tighten all three screws securely.
1886 Preparing the Remote To access the battery compartment, remove the small Phillips head screw that secures the battery door to the transmitter assembly. The battery should be installed with the positive (+) side up. Replace with a CR2032 battery when necessary. 1886 Troubleshooting Fan Doesn’t Work Noisy Operation • Make sure power switch is on. • Make sure the blades are properly installed. • Check the circuit breaker to ensure the power is turned on. • Check to see if any of the blades are cracked. If so, replace all of the blades. • Make sure the blades spin freely. • Turn off power from the circuit breaker, then loosen the canopy and check all the connections according to the wiring diagram.
