www.HunterFan.com Downrod (continued) Hanger Ball KEEP! ! KEEP Adapter Cover Slide the adapter cover onto the downrod until it rests against the hanger ball. Note: The adapter cover is not used for low-profile mounting. Tighten the setscrew with pliers. DO NOT HAND TIGHTEN. 8” Lower the adapter cover until it rests flush against the motor housing. 3/8” If the setscrew is not tightened securely, the fan may fall.

www.HunterFan.com Secondary Hanging System 3mm (1/8") 1.888.830.1326 Braided Cable Support Brace Outlet Box Insert the looped end of the braided cable through the ceiling bracket and one of the holes in the outlet box into the ceiling. Access the support brace in the ceiling. You may not be able to do this from below the ceiling depending on your installation site. Ceiling Drive the wood screw and washer found in the bag into the side of the support brace that holds the outlet box.
Wiring www.HunterFan.com Note: To connect the wires, hold the bare metal leads together and place a wire connector over them, then twist clockwise until tight. 1.888.830.1326 OM CEILING FR Receiver green/yellow stripe (grounding) Using an orange wire connector from the hardware bag: Connect the 3 grounding wires (green, green/yellow stripe, or bare copper) coming from the ceiling, downrod, and ceiling bracket.
Wiring (continued) OM FR • Connect the blue wire from the receiver to the blue wire (or possibly black with white stripe wire) from the fan. • Connect the white (grounded) wire from the ceiling to both the white wire from the receiver and the white wire from the fan. www.HunterFan.com Canopy Screw Holes Position the canopy so that, when lifted into place, the canopy fits into the hanging bracket as shown. Lift the canopy into place so that the screw holes are aligned. Insert the two canopy screws found in the hardware bag. Blades www.HunterFan.com Place each blade between a blade iron and medallion. Install three blade screws, found in the hardware bag, to attach the medallion to the blade iron. Repeat this step for each blade. Lightly attach the blade irons to the motor with screws found in the hardware bag, then securely tighten after both screws are attached. Switch Housing Screw two housing assembly screws from the hardware bag halfway into the motor housing. It does not matter which two screw holes you choose. www.HunterFan.com Feed the wire plug through the center hole of the upper switch housing, then wrap keyhole slots around the screws and twist counterclockwise. 1.888.830.1326 Insert the third screw, found in the hardware bag, into place and then tighten all three screws. Make sure the upper switch housing is securely attached to the mounting plate.
www.HunterFan.com Light Kit Screw two housing assembly screws from the hardware bag halfway into the upper switch housing. Connect the plugs from the upper and lower switch housings. Make sure to line up the colored markings on the connectors. www.HunterFan.com Light Kit (continued) 1.888.830.1326 WARNING GLASS FALL HAZARD To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH, make sure that glass is properly secured. Tab Notch Bulb CONGRA YOU’RETULATIONS! DONE! Install a light bulb in each socket. When necessary, replace with bulbs of the same wattage. Position the notches in the outer rim of the globe so they line up with the tabs on the inside surface of the light fixture rim. Carefully lift the globe up inside the light fixture as far as it will go.
www.HunterFan.com Remote Control & Cradle Battery Door 1.888.830.1326 r we o nP r Tu ON Phillips Head Screw The remote transmitter is already paired to the receiver and ready to use. To access the battery compartment, remove the small Phillips head screw that secures the battery door to the transmitter assembly. The battery should be installed with the positive (+) side up. Replace with a CR2032 battery when necessary. Note: If your need to pair your remote, remove the battery door.
www.HunterFan.com Remote Control & Cradle (continued) 1.888.830.1326 You have two options to install the included remote control cradle to the wall. Choose which path works best for you. Option 1: Using Screws Option 2: Using Adhesive Strip Choose your cradle installation location. Remove the cradle from the cradle bracket. If you are installing into drywall, drill two 9/64 width holes using the cradle bracket as a guide. Gently hammer the included drywall anchors into the pre-drilled holes.
Operation, Maintenance, and Cleaning www.HunterFan.com 1.888.830.1326 Light Button Fan Button Fan Control Reverse Switch Fan Operation: Press and quickly release the fan button on the remote control to turn the fan OFF or ON. Use the fan control directional pad to raise or lower the fan to the desired speed. Press and hold the fan button to reverse the fan direction. Light Operation: Press and quickly release the light button on the remote control to turn the light OFF or ON.
www.HunterFan.com Troubleshooting Fan doesn’t work Excessive wobbling Noisy Operation • Make sure power switch is on. • Tighten all of the blade and blade iron screws until they are snug. • Tighten the blade and blade iron screws until they are snug. • Pull the pull chain to make sure it is on. • Push the motor reversing switch firmly left or right to ensure that it is engaged. • Check the circuit breaker to ensure the power is turned on. • Make sure the blades spin freely.
