Thank you for your purchase. WARNING - FABRIC SHADE SIZING All Showcase Collection TM Lamp and Shade packages are Color and Letter Coded to indicate safety and appearance matched combinations. To reduce risk of fire or tip over, use only these combinations and do not exceed recommended maximum wattage. When not purchasing in recommended combinations, you must match bulb and lamp wattage to the size of shade you would like to use. Step 1 - Choose bulb wattage. Do not exceed socket label rating.
TOOLS REQUIRED Safety goggles Phillips screwdriver Hammer Ladder Drill NOTE: The lamp requires the use of one 120V, 60Hz, 100-Watt max, medium-base type A bulb (not included). Do not exceed the recommended wattage. HARDWARE INCLUDED NOTE: Hardware not shown to actual size.

1. Installing the plastic anchors □ Drill two pilot holes on ceiling and insert plastic anchors (AA) into the holes. (If installing to stud, skip this step) Ceiling AA 2. Installing the hooks and cord clips □ Screw hooks (CC) to the ceiling or the plastic anchors (AA) that have installed. □ Adjust the height of the lamp body as desired and secure the cord to (2) hooks (CC) with (2) cord clips (BB) as shown.
3A. Assemble with fabric shade □ Remove the nut (D) from the nipple by unscrewing the nut (D). □ Slide the socket assembly (C) into fabric shade (sold separately), and then secure the fabric shade to nipple with the nut (D) removed above.
3B. Assemble with glass shade □ Remove the spacer (B) and socket ring (A) from the socket assembly (C) by unscrewing the socket ring (A). □ Place glass shade (sold separately) over the socket, then secure the glass shade to the socket with the spacer (B) and socket ring (A) removed above. □ Place the metal cover onto top of the glass shade.
4. Installing the bulb □ Prior to installing the bulb, inspect socket for silica packet. If packet is present, then remove and throw away. Do not expose it to children or pets. □ Install the 120V, 60Hz, 100-watt max. medium-base type A bulb (not included) into the socket of the light lamp. □ Plug cord into an outlet and turn on at the switch.
