To reduce risk of fire or tip over, use only these combinations and do not exceed recommended maximum wattage. When not purchasing in recommended combinations, you must match bulb and lamp wattage to the size of shade you would like to use. Step 1 - Choose bulb wattage. Do not exceed socket label rating.

1. Unpack the lamp and installing the plastic anchors □ Measure the distance between the keyholes on back of backplate, then mark spots on the wall. □ Drill pilot holes on the marked spots and insert plastic anchors (AA). (If fastening with wood screws (BB) to studs, skip this step) AA 2. Installing the wood screws □ Install wood screws (BB) to the plastic anchors (AA) or the spots that you marked on studs.
3. Hanging the lamp body □ Hang wall lamp body (C) to wall by attaching the keyholes on back of the backplate to the wood screws (BB).
4. Assembling harp and shade □ Squeeze legs of the harp (B) together and insert the two ends between the prongs of the harp holder. □ Place the shade (sold separately) onto harp (B) and secure with finial (A).
5. Installing the bulb □ Prior to installing the bulb, inspect socket for silica packet. If packet is present, then remove and throw away. Do not expose it to children or pets. □ Install the 120V, 60HZ, 60-watt max. medium-base type A bulb (not included) into the socket of the light lamp. □ Plug cord into an outlet and turn on at the switch.
