Using power cord instructions (continued) NOTE: If using power cord follow instructions below. If wiring to an outlet box proceed to outlet box installation instructions. 1. 2. Installing the plastic anchors □ Drill two 6 mm (1/4") pilot holes on ceiling and insert plastic anchors (JJ) into the holes. (If installing to studs, skip this step) Assembling the shade and installing bulb Ceiling □ Carefully unpack the pendant and lay out all parts on clean surface.

Hanging the pendant 5. □ Adjust the height of the pendant as desired and wrap the cord to two "S" shape cord clips (LL) as shown. □ Plug cord into an outlet and turn on at the switch. Outlet box installation instructions CAUTION: If you are not familiar with wiring, you should use a qualified electrician. Stripping the wires □ Loosen the set screw (MM), feed the cord up through the center hole of the canopy (EE). □ Split the end of the wires 6" from the end. □ Slide the "8" shape cord clip (II) into canopy (EE) to secure the cord to canopy as shown, and then tighten the set screw (MM). □ Strip the plastic covers off the black and white wires about 1/2" from the end.
