Connecttoanydecodertoviewstatus,foridentificationanddiagnostics.Thiscanbeusedwitheitherinstalleddecoders,
ordisconnecteddecodersthatarepoweredthroughtheICD‐HPpowerleads.
FromtheMainMenu,selectDecoderProgrammingwiththeNext3button.Movethepointerwiththeup/down
arrows
toGetDecoderStatus,andpressNext3againtoselect.TheICD‐HPwillattempttocommunicatewiththedecoder.
Whenadecoderisfound,thestatuswillbedisplayed.
StationDecoders:IfthedecoderisaStationOutputdecoder,thedisplaywill
showthefollowinginformation.
Dec
State:CanbeNormal,Fault,orDamaged.
Normal:Decoderisrespondingcorrectly.
Fault:Decoderoutputwiresareshortedorsolenoidcoilisshorted.
Thisdoesnotindicateaproblemwiththedecoder!Checkfield
wiringandsolenoid.
Damaged:Thereisaproblemwiththedecoder,anditshouldbereplaced.Damagedindicatesthedecoderis
“leaking”voltageontheoutputswhenitshouldbeoff.
