How to Operate the Humidex
After both the Humidex and the exhaust vent are properly
installed, you can now plug the Humidex in the closest outlet. The
Humidex unit possesses a label illuminated by LEDs that will
indicate the set humidity preference, if the unit is powered On and
if the unit has detected a higher than usual amount of CO.
To set your humidity preference, press the center button of the
label to cycle through the different humidity settings. If you wish
to have the unit on for a continuous basis, press the button until
the humidity level reaches 25%. If you would like it to run to its
minimal capacity, press the button until the humidity level reaches
65%. Manufacturer’s suggested setting is to be place the humidity
level between 45% and 55%.
The Humidex garage and multipurpose humidity control unit will
reduce moisture levels inside your garage or shed. Whether you
want to keep your wood dry for your furnace or just want a dryer
space, Humidex is the unit that can make it possible.
The Humidex garage unit also contains a Carbon Monoxide(CO)
sensor which allows you to monitor CO levels in your garage or
shed.
