How the CO Sensor Works
The built-in carbon monoxide sensor allows the unit to monitor
the garage or shed for any amount of CO in the air. To help the
user understand the unit’s process an indicator light has been added
The indicator light will have three (3) different display modes
Double blink mode:
In order to function properly, the CO sensor is required to
warmup, during these warmup sequences the indicator light will
blink twice. On initial start-up, the unit will warm up for up to 48
hours this is required for proper functionality.
Single blink mode:
If the unit is not in a warmup sequence and the sensor detects a
low level of CO, the indicator light will blink and the Humidex will
also try to reduce the quantity of CO by going into high speed
mode.
Solid Light:
If a higher level of carbon monoxide is detected the CO indicator
will turn a solid color. During this time the humidex will run at a
high speed to try and reduce the CO levels
Note: The device cannot guaranty that it will be able to
evacuate the CO from your garage or shed. It should also be
noted that the Humidex device cannot replace a certified CO
measuring device.
