Appendix I Common Fault diagnosis
TROUBLE POSSIBLE REASONS
Can not be switched on
1. Need to charge the battery?
2. Is battery located correctly?
Battery can not be
charged
1. Check if the charger is connected with the phone
correctly?
2. The battery is usable?The battery performance will
degrade due to several years’use.
3. Is the battery overly discharged? The handset comes
into a slow charging mode after connected to the
charger.The handset normally can be charged hours
later depending on the degree of discharging.
Network registration
failure
1. The signal is too weak,there may be some radio
interference all round. View whether the signal
strength meter on the screen fails to show vertical
lines.
2. The SIM card is located correctly or damaged(If
damaged,please adk your network provider for
replacement).
Can not call make calls
1. Registered in the network?Check whether the screen
displays the name of your network provider?
2. Call diverting is enabled?
3.Calling prohibited due to call charges not paid?
4.You have activated the function lf fixed dialing
numbers?
Can not answer
1. Registered in the network?
2.Answering calls prohibited due to call costs not paid?
3.Call diverting is enabled?
4.Bar receiving call in call barring is enabled?
