receive a notice regarding a voice message available (The number of the voice mailbox
center must be preset first and such service must be supported by the network).
7. Using menu functions
Messages
Message function is a network service. To send and receive messages, you may be
required to subscribe to the service from your network operator in advance.
This phone supports sending and receiving messages. A short message is sent to the
SMS center of the network, then to the targeted user by the network. If the targeted user
does not switch his phone on or fails to receive the message, the network will
temporarily store it for a period of time, which is jointly determined by the setting of
the message sender and the network operator.
The phone supports not only normal message service, but also EMS (Enhanced
Message Service) through which messages with attachments such as inserted picture,
ringing tone, and animation can be sent and received.
If the memory of message is not full, a message will be saved directly in the SIM card.
A flashing icon
will appear on the top row of the main screen if the memory is full.
An alert voice of the phone can be heard if the other party has received the message (if
shot message prompt tone and message informing setting is enabled).

【Inbox】: You can view the received messages in the inbox.
