6. Basic operation
Switching on
The phone can be switched on (or off) by holding down the hang-up key. It will
automatically search the network if the SIM card and the phone have no password
protection. After the phone is registered in the network, the network's name will be
displayed on the screen. And now you can make or answer a call.
Your phone remains in a searching state if it fails to find the available network system.
If the screen displays “Please insert SIM card” after it is on, please switch the phone off
by holding down the Hang-up key, and check whether your SIM card is properly
installed.
If a password or PIN code for the phone is required after it is switched on, please input
the correct one, and “*” will be displayed on the screen as the content during the entry,
then press the left soft key for confirmation. After unlocked, the phone will display the
name of the registered network and the signal strength.
Please contact your network provider if you do not know the PIN code.
The default password of the phone is “1234”.
Switching off
To switch off the phone, please press and hold down the hang-up key and after the
switch-off animation is dispalyed on the screen, the phone will be switched off. Please
