Language and input method
Languages supported by this handset are listed under the path [Settings]-Æ[Phone Settings] -Æ[Language].
You can press the key
to switch between input methods and press the key to switch to symbol input
method. For detailed operation please refer to relevant chapters of “Operation Instruction of Input Methods”.
Wallpaper browsing
After entering wallpaper menu, you may press left or right-direction, or up or down-direction key to go through
the wallpapers. Press the key
to confirm your selection and update the setting, and at the same time the
phone will return to higher-level menu automatically; pressing the key
will discard the setting and go back
to higher-level menu.
Call alert modes
Under any mode, when a call is incoming, the backlight of the phone’s display screen will be turned on and the
display screen will have corresponding incoming call prompt mode (specific mode depends on user’s setting).
In addition, this handset has four alert modes of Ring, Vibrate, Vibrate First Then Ring, Off for your selection
under the path [Settings]-Æ[Sound Settings] -Æ[
Call Alert Mode].
Short message alert modes
Four modes of “Ring, Vibrate, Vibrate First Then Ring, Off” are available for your selection under the path
[Settings]-Æ[Sound Settings] -Æ[
SMS Alert Mode].
Term description
(Domestic long-distance call)
To dial a fixed number, please key in the area code of the number first and then key in the number to be dialed.
If mobile phone number is to be dialed from a fixed telephone, please dial 0 first and then the mobile phone
number of the other party.
(International long-distance call)
Dial 00 first and then key in district code, area code and the phone number.
(ESN)
Electronic Serial Number. Switch off the phone and take off the battery, you may see the barcode label of this
number printed at the back of the phone.
