devicesinusetoavoidcausingmalfunctionorinterferingwith

Turnoffyourphoneinhospitalsorplaceswheretheuseof
mobilephonesisrestricted.Mobilephonesaffectthenormal
operationofelectronicdevicesandmedicalinstruments,suchas
pacemakers,hearingaidsandotherelectronicmedicaldevices.
Pacemakermanufacturersrecommendthatmobilephonesare
keptatleast1.5cmawayfrompacemakerstopreventthephone
interference.Whenusingthephone,youshouldholditagainst
theearontheoppositesidetothedevice,toreduce
interference.
Mobilephonesshouldbeforbiddeninsideanoperatingtheatre,
IntensiveCareUnit(ICU)orCardiacCareUnit(CCU).
Payattentiontothesettingsofthesoundvolumeandthe
vibrationtoavoiddisturbingthepatients.

