Status Codes
Number and Description Cause Solution
1 SIM card is not
installed. Power down,
install SIM card properly
and try again.
Absence or
incorrect
installation of the
SIM card.
SIM card may not be present.
Removethe battery cover and
verify that the SIM card is present.
SIM card may beinserted
incorrectly. Remove SIM card and
make sureit is inserted according to
theinstructionsin the User Manual.
SIM card may bedamaged.
Visually inspect the SIM card and
return it toyour Service Provider if
damaged.
SIM card contactsmay bedirty.
Clean the SIM card contacts with a
dry cloth.
If problem continues, replace SIM
card with a known good SIM card.If
problem persists, returntheunit to
your Service Provider for service.
2 SIM card read/write
error. Power down and
try again.
Failure to read
from or write to
the SIM card.
Power down ThurayaIP andtry
again.
SIM card may bedamaged.
Visually inspect the SIM card and
return it toyour Service Provider if
damaged.
SIM card contactsmay bedirty.
