To prepare to commission the HT (chapter 7), you:
• Perform a CCM power–on test (this section)
• Check the status of each main component (section 7.3)
The objective is to verify that the equipment is operational before
commissioning. If you find a problem, you can correct it prior to
commissioning so it will not delay the commissioning process.
Before you conduct the power–on test, make sure all AIReach
Broadband equipment is properly connected.
1. Check these connections, with power to the IDU off:
• IDU to ODU (IFL from IDU to lightning arrestor
and from lightning arrestor to ODU)
• ODU ground connections
• IDU ground connections (if required)
Test the CCM for proper operation, as follows:
1. Apply power to the IDU chassis.
2. Observe the LEDs on the CCM front panel:
