Write with a Stylus
A stylus can perfectly capture the unique character of your writing style, making you feel as if
you are writing or painting on paper.
Place the stylus on the top right side of the tablet with the groove side facing down. Follow
the onscreen instructions to pair your stylus and tablet.
After the pairing is done, you can:
Quickly access Notepad: When the screen is o, use the stylus to tap or write on the screen
to quickly enter Notepad.
Switch between tools: When taking notes in Notepad, double-tap the lower part of the
stylus to switch between the eraser and the previous tool that you used.
HUAWEI M-Pencil is not supported on all device models.
Set Scheduled Power On/O
Use the Scheduled power on/o feature to power your device on and o at set times, to
save power and prevent interruptions while resting.
1 Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Scheduled power on/o, and enable
Scheduled power on/o.
2 Set the power on and
o times, as well as the repeat cycle. Your device will power on and
o automatically at the specied times.
To stop using this feature, disable Scheduled power on/o.
Users & Accounts
Add a User or Guest Account
1 Go to Settings > Users & accounts > Signed in as, touch Add user or Add guest, then
follow the onscreen instructions to add an account.
2 Touch Switch to switch to the user or guest account. Congure the settings for the new
account as prompted.
3 Install apps as needed. Note that if a newer version of an app has been installed by
another user, the app installation will fail.
Authorise a User or Guest Account to Make Calls
You can set whether to allow a user or guest account to make calls or use other functions on
your device.
Calling services are not supported on Wi-Fi only tablets.
1 Access your device as the administrator and go to Settings > Users & accounts > Signed
in as.
2 Touch the related account, and select the permissions you want to authorise.
