1.7 Messages

1.7.1 How do I change the input method when editing a message?

Create a message, and touch the text field to bring up the onscreen keyboard. The default

input method is Swype for Huawei. Swipe down on the screen to open the status bar, touch

, and select an input method.

1.7.2 How do I delete or lock a message in a conversation? How

do I delete multiple messages in batches?



Go to Messaging and touch a conversation to display all messages in the conversation.

Touch and hold the message you want to lock. Choose Menu. From the displayed option

menu, choose Lock.



On the Messaging screen, touch and hold the message or conversation you want to

delete. From the displayed option menu, choose Delete. You can also touch and hold a

message and then select multiple messages or conversations to delete them in batches.

1.7.3 How do I forward a message or send a message to multiple

recipients?



To forward a message:

Touch and hold the message, choose Forward from the displayed option menu, enter a

recipient, and send the message.



To send a message to multiple recipients:

Create a message, touch , select the desired recipients, and touch .
