Keys and Functions Press… To… Follow the prompt shown on screen, press to access the following options: “Menu”, “Select”, “OK ”or “Option”, etc. Press to access In-Call Menu during calls. In the editing mode, press to clear the screen or delete characters. In the menu mode, press to return to upper level menu. In the idle mode access to Contacts easily by simply Quick Search Contacts Access key. pressing Press up and down arrow to scroll through the lists when accessing menus or setting options.
Press… To… Press to reject an incoming call. Press and hold to turn on /off the phone. Press to end an active call during calls. Press and back to the idle mode. Press to place a call or answer an incoming call. In the idle mode, press to access the call records and view the phone numbers dialed or missed recently with 10 entries each. Screen Icons Icon or Description Icon Indicates signal strength and alternate line service.
Icon Description Icon Roaming It shows that you are using a network other than your home network. Description Mute It is shown when you set Profiles to Mute in the Settings menu. Short Message It is solid when there is an unread incoming text message. It flashes when the memory is full. Vibrator It is shown when Call Alert is set to Vibrator Only. Alarm It is shown when you enable the alarm. Earphone Indicates the connection of an earphone. Missing call Indicates that you have missed calls.

Installing the SIM Card and Battery. Make sure that the angled corner is on the lower right-hand side with the golden metallic contact surface facing downward. Removing the Battery and SIM Card Make sure that your phone is powered off. Charging the Battery Use only the approved battery and charger supplied by the phone manufacturer. 1. If you have activated the Divert call function, any incoming call will be diverted to a specified number. For example, divert the incoming calls to your voice mailbox. When an incoming call is refused, the call will be diverted too. Security There are a number of security features provided to protect against any unauthorized use of your SIM card and some certain features.
Text Input Modes The phone provides five input modes for you to edit your contacts and short messages. The input modes are also available in other editing modes. The following five input modes are available: eZi English, Number Input, Smart English, Upper English, Lower English. Upper English Lower English Smart English eZi English Number Input. By pressing , you can switch between these input modes. Warnings and Precautions Electronic Device Power off your phone near high-precision electronic devices.
Pacemaker manufacturers recommend that a minimum separation of 15cm be maintained between a mobile phone and a pacemaker to avoid potential interference with the pacemaker. Traffic Safety Please observe local laws and regulations on phone use. Do not use your phone while driving to avoid traffic accident. Secure the phone on its holder. Do not place the phone on the seat or other places where it can get loose in a sudden stop or collision. Use the phone after the vehicle stops at a safe place. If your phone supports the hands-free function, or the phone can be used with earphones, or there is any vehicle-mounted equipment with the hands-free function, use them in emergency.
Keep the ambient temperature between 0℃ and 45℃ while the battery is being charged. Keep the ambient temperature between –20℃ and 60℃ for storing the battery. If the ambient temperature is too low (especially below 0℃) or too high, the capacity and life of the battery will be reduced. Do not place sharp metal objects such as pins near the earpiece. The earpiece may attract these objects and hurt you when you are using the phone. Do not subject your phone, battery, and charger to serious collision or shock.
Do not use the phone in dusty, damp and dirty places or places with magnetic field. Otherwise, malfunction of the circuit may occur. Do not power on or off the phone when it is near your ears to avoid negative impact on your health. When carrying or using the phone, keep the antenna at least one inch (2.5 centimeters) away from your body, to avoid negative impact on your health caused by radio frequency leakage.
clean the phone and the charger with a piece of soft antistatic cloth that is a little wet. Do not scratch the shell of the phone. Otherwise, the shed coating may cause skin allergy. Once it happens, stop using the phone at once and go to see a doctor. Keep the plug dry when you clean it, to prevent fire. If the phone or any of its fittings does not work, turn to the local authorize service center for help. Do not dismantle the mobile phone or accessories.
Do not dispose of the battery in fire. Otherwise, the battery may ignite or explode. Do not connect two poles of the battery with conductors such as cables, jewelries or any other metal material. Otherwise, the battery is short-circuited and it may burn your body. Do not disassemble the battery or solder the battery poles. Otherwise fluid leakage, overheat, fire, or explosion may occur.
Do not short-circuit the charger. Short-circuiting the charger may cause fire or malfunction of the charger. If the power cord is damaged (for example, the lead is exposed or broken), or the plug becomes loose, stop using the cable at once. Otherwise, electric shock, short-circuit of the charger, or fire may occur. Keep the charger dry. Once water or other liquid leaks into the charger, electrical leakage or other faults may occur. Do not use the charger in a dusty and damp environment.
